Summer Fun!

The summer is one of our favorite times of year, not just because we're off school and the warm temperatures, but because it gives us the time to visit with family and friends more often than we can during the year. An old middle school/high school friend of mine, ReNie, has a handsome son Christian who is about 4 mos. older than Jillian. They came to visit for a playdate. It was great to catch up with ReNie and to see Christian. What a sweetheart he is!

I think Jacob might like Jillian's "Princess Coupe" almost more than she does. It's a good thing he's secure in his masculinity!

Cousin Jenny came to visit Jillian for a "make-up birthday visit". Aren't they both beautiful?!?! We only wish Jenny lived closer...maybe someday. I'll have to kick up my CRP (i.e. Columbus Relocation Plan).

Uncle Josh came for a visit on his lunch break one day...he can't get enough of his favorite niece and nephew!

And, of course, Uncle Jeff stopped by for some Jacob/Jillian Quality Time too!

Finger Painting Fun at Mia's!

Our Little Picasso

One Year Old Photos of Our Princess and her brother

In the last year she has stole our hearts with her smiles, hugs, and beautiful spirit.

We are so lucky to have Jillian Layne in our lives.

Watching her learn and grow is a true blessing.

We are so excited to see what her future holds.

Happy 1st Birthday, lil Miss Jillian!

It's hard to believe, but our little girl is 1 year old!

Where has all the time gone?

Jillian celebrated her 1st birthday party in Pennsylvania,

surrounded by family and friends.

What a lucky little girl...so loved!

The rain held off and Jillian's pink and white polka-dot/

zebra print/Minnie Mouse BDay was a huge hit,

from the yummy food to the bouncy house

to the plants for the kids to pot and the tattoos Jacob was giving everyone!

What a great time!

Happy Birthday, Jillian!
