Livin' the high life...

Yep, I could really get use to this lifestyle,

just kicking back, hanging out in my swing,

and watching them all smile at me all day long...

...all eyes are still on me...

My Mommy not only loves to snuggle with me,

but she also likes to take a LOT of pictures of me...

she doesn't care if I'm all dressed up in my best duds or not!

I guess this is all practice for my future with the paparazzi!

Jaime's Bridal Shower and Bachelorette Party

Their big day is just around the corner! So, it was fitting that we celebrated and helped Jaime and Josh get ready by throwing a shower for Jaime, at the Holiday Inn Express in Center. This was also Jacob's first chance to meet his family on his mother's side. He was an absolute angel, cuddling with everyone and then falling asleep as soon as the shower started so the ladies could enjoy themselves and ooh and ahh over all the great gifts Jaime (and Josh) received. I saw a lot of great kitchen gadgets and such, so I'm thinking we'll all be invited over for a great Italian dinner in no time!

Jacob meets his cousin Jenny...she made sure he was well aware of his "options", i.e. the University of Pittsburgh. She and Steve gave him and adorable Pitt jersey (for little ones, like a onesie but out of jersey material) that he will definitely sport this fall! Even though he's at the top of Jim Tressel's recruiting list, we don't want him to forget his Pittsburgh roots...and it's okay to cheer for the Panthers because they're not in the Big 10.

The infamous "Bubble Gum" game...I had never seen it before, but apparently they had done it at Nicole's bridal shower. I was impressed with how many questions Jaime got right about Josh...guess they really are a perfect pair!

Jaime and "the girls" - bridesmaids, Julie, Nicole, Sue, Jaime (i.e. the bride), Jennifer, Steph, and Ange...missing - April who couldn't make it in from out of town.

Sue and Jaime are all smiles for the camera at Bahama Breeze, where the girls went for dinner, before having a night out on the town. Jaime also got some parting gifts if you know what I mean....

Yep, I turned 1...1 month old, that is!

Yep, Jacob is already one month old! We borrowed a great idea from a friend to take a picture of Jacob every month with his bear, stuffed animal (Thanks, Grammy and Pappy!) so we can watch him grow and compare him month-to-month. Here's month one. He seems to really like his new "friend". Jacob was very alert and even gave us some smiles for this "photo session"!
