"Here we go, Buckeyes! Here we go!"

Well, it's never too late to get even the littlest of Buckeyes' fans ready for the big day! Since it was the first game of the season, a Buckeye onesie was the perfect outfit for Jacob! Only three and a half months old and already he's one of the Bucks biggest fans!

We knew this wouldn't be a very competitive game, but the weather was nice and we were itching for football season to begin! Great job, Buckeyes! 43-0! I think it's going to be one heckuva season!

What better way to get psyched up for the game then a stop by Hineygate!

Back to school means football season! We wouldn't have it any other way. Greg is on the Packers and is loving it! We'll have to give you an update later in the season as to how his team did.

A Visit from Grammy and Pappy

Grammy and Pappy visited this past weekend, so Mommy and Daddy could go into work and get ready for school to start up. I was so happy to spend time with Grammy and Pappy I didn't even realize Mommy and Daddy were gone.... I just love listening to Pappy talk; he has a voice for radio that really makes me smile.

Grammy "let" Pappy hold me for a while, but then she had to get her own cuddle time in...
I can't think of a better place to fall asleep than on Pappy's shoulder...
Leave it to Grammy to make sure I had my shades all ready for tomorrow...bring on the sun!

Thanks for coming to visit, Grammy and Pappy, and for taking time off from work so Mommy and Daddy could get their classroom and office ready for the big kids to go back to school. Whee! Look who's THREE months old today!

On the 7th Jacob turned 3 months old, so it was time to get out his trusty Teddy Bear for his monthly, birthday pictures. Jacob loves to be sitting up these days, whether it's propped up in his Boppy, on your lap, or what have you. He's rolling over (just front to back) now and then, but, of course, not quite sure how he's doing it yet. He's "talking" up a storm, too...a lot of vowels and he's moved on to some consonant sounds as well. He loves being on his tummy and he is doing a great job at holding up his head. He's also pushing his torso up off the ground quite a bit. Jacob's laugh is also contagious. We'll have to load a video clip of him one of these days. So, as you can see, we're enjoying every minute of him, and we love watching him grow and all the changes he's experiencing.
