MINNESOTA NICE!

Well, it's true what they say, they really are "Minnesota Nice"! We had a wonderful time in Minneapolis...the people were nice, the city was clean, and, of course, the BUCKEYES won! The weekend was also even more special because our dear friends Brittney and Brad, who live in Chicago, also came to Minneapolis for the weekend. What better way to enjoy the weekend than with a fellow Buckeye alum!

We stayed at the Renaissance at the Depot, which used to an old train station. This place was right up my Dad's alley and I hope they get to visit there some day soon. Before Brittney and Brad got into town I was able to convince my wonderful husband to take a trek to the Mall of America. (Yes, he IS a sweetheart!) So, we headed for the train, which I was super impressed by. Not only was it clean and inexpensive, it was really efficient. I highly recommend it if you're in the area. We only had about five or six hours at the mall, which really should be done in about four or five DAYS! It was awesome! ...a girl's dreams come true! From the amusement park to the aquarium...to the Chapel of Love (it's not too late, Josh and Jaime to give it a try!) there was so much to see and do there. It really was a mall within an amusement park with ample entertainment. We'll definitely make a trip back!

Brittney and Brad's plane was delayed, but we finally got together Saturday morning for breakfast and some pregame fun. What great people!

Looks like they did it again! Way to go, Ohio State! Keep up the great work! You're climbing that BCS poll week by week! Is there another National Championship in your future this year?
