A Little "Summer Fun"

Well, we've spent a majority of the summer just enjoying ourselves
and spending time with family and friends.
Jacob, Mom, and Dad enjoyed a visit from Amanda one evening.
Jacob enjoyed cuddling with Amanda and said she can come over for dinner any time!

Of course, we also have had to make sure that Jacob gets to wear all the new clothes friends and family have bought him, so sometimes that even means taking one for the team and posing in your PJ's and night cap.

Then again, when you're this cute, who cares?!?!

Tummy time has also been a daily ritual this summer...Jacob is doing a great job holding his head up and even pushing up off the ground. Occasionally, he even rolls over...not too shabby for a 3 month old.

We also spent one Sunday afternoon at COSI, enjoying the new CSI exhibit. Greg also enjoyed being a TV broadcaster...he's just very serious for his first day on camera.

Jacob and Mom enjoyed the nice weather outside while Greg and Dad rode that spin-a-majiggy thing.

Mom and Jacob were also fortunate to get to have lunch one afternoon with Mommy's "girls". i.e. former students who all graduated this year and are going off to college! Can you believe it? It's amazing how much the girls have changed in 6 years. What hasn't changed is that they're still wonderful, caring, loving, intelligent, amazing young women. Mom hopes the girls keep her updated on their college adventures. We're sure they'll all do amazing things in the near future. Best of luck, Christine, Corinne, and Jenna!

Christine poses with her favorite, little man!
Corinne is all smiles with Jacob!
We even managed to get some pool time in this summer. Jacob poses in his new swim trunks! Hang loose!
"Okay, Mom, enough pictures...where's this pool you keep talking about?!"
Mom and Jacob pose for his first time swimming.
Our dear friend Elaine snuggles with Jacob too.
So serious....look at those eyes.
Greg enjoys the pool, too. I think he spent 8 hours in there...no joke!
